The Prayer Of Faith by Richard Roberts

Uncategorized Comments Off

Now step out and come to this altar.  If you raised your hand, step out and come to this altar.  Let me pray with you.  If you lifted your hand, come to this altar.  Those of you at the back of the stadium, come to the front of this altar if you want me to pray the prayer of faith with you.

Thank God for all these healings, and there are many others who could testify.  But the greatest miracle is the salvation of a soul.  That’s the greatest miracle.

Jesus said to a man in the Bible, “You must be born again.”

And he said, “How can a man enter into his mother’s body a second time?”

Jesus said, “You’re talking about your birth in the flesh, but I’m talking about a second birth, being born of the Spirit.”

When I was 19, 38 years ago, I committed my life to Christ.  I was going one way, but God got hold of my life and suddenly I began to go another way.

As you come to this altar tonight, you are saying to the Lord, “My life has been going one way, but now I want to go Your way.”  You’re saying yes to God and you’re saying no to the devil.  You’re making a commitment that you’re going to live for God, that no longer will you allow the devil to control your life, but you will allow Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, to become your Lord and Savior.

For God so loved the Lord, He loved you so much, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life.  They’re still coming from the back.  Come right up around the side.  I’m going to pray.  And when I pray, something supernatural is going to happen.  It will happen all week.  It will happen tonight.  It will happen tomorrow night.  It will happen on Friday night.  It will happen on Saturday night.

Giving Back to God by Lindsay Roberts

MM: I had a smart mama.

LR: Smart in the Word of God.

MM: That knew a smart God, that did a smart thing over my life and I’m here.

LR: She chose life.

MM: Yes. She did something very important. She gave me back to God.Sometimes we as mothers and as parents, we’re afraid to do that.

LR: That’s for sure.

MM: Because we’re afraid that God may take our child. You know, we understand as women of God and men of God that these children belong to Him. So He can do what He wants. But sometimes we’re so afraid, “Lord, just take my child.”  And I understand that because I’ve had to do that with my own. But at that moment, she gave me back to the Lord. And she said, “God, I thank you for my little girl and I give her back to you.  Now if it’s your will, I pray that you would give her back to me, and I promise” she vowed a vow “I will raise this child up in the ways of the Lord the best way I know how.”

And she’s like you, you know, we don’t have all the answers. She was going to do the best, with a fourth grade education, coming out of the cotton fields of Georgia; she was going to do it the best way she knew how, and that is to raise me up with a belt and with the Word of God and prayer and with love and would work and clean folks house to get food on our table and clothes on our back. She did the best way, and she did an excellent job.

RR: And the day came when the world

MM: And the day came when she stood up there in Mexico City at the finish line, three tiers up, and screamed, “Thank You, Jesus! That’s my baby!”

RR: They hung that gold medal around your neck, the whole world watching, in the Olympics. Let’s focus in right now, Lindsay, let’s focus in on the needs of people and let’s just take these moments as we prepare to close our program and let’s just begin to pray. As the Lord drops a word in your heart for someone in prayer, let’s just begin to pray over the people right now. I want you to stretch your hands out toward us tonight.

Heaven Came Down by Richard Roberts

RR:  What are people saying, Hal, as they go through the first phase of the Journey Through the Bible?

HL:  The response has been unbelievable.  It’s just the presence of God in that place, it’s tremendous.  Not only in the prayer room which I really feel it, but all throughout it, the whole tour is tremendous. You can watch the little children’s faces. You know, I always like to watch the kids because you can see how much it’s going to mean to them and they’re going to remember this, you know, they’re going to remember creation, how God created man and woman.  And it’s just been a fabulous thing. It’s going to be the largest witness that’s going to ever take place for Jesus Christ in this world for people to remember.

RR:  Are people saying “We can’t wait for the next phase,” or-

HL:  Oh, they’re ready to go out and help start building it.  I mean, they’re so anxious for that second phase, it’s unbelievable. (Applause)  It’s unbelievable.  People have been coming through two, three, four, five times.  Amen.  They just keep coming out, going back in

RR:  And you see something new every time you go through, something you didn’t notice before.  You say, hey, I didn’t notice that the first time.  Or I didn’t notice that the second time.  That’s what happened to us.

LR:  You know what, that’s what happened to me.  That’s why I went back another time.  I had taken little Juli with us, and Juli is Richard’s 14-year-old daughter.  And Juli said, “Did you see that?” And I said, “No, I missed that.”

RR:  Missed it the first time.

LR:  So I had to go back and see what she was talking about.  And when you do, you see something else and you think, well, I didn’t realize that.  Then you go back and you begin to pick up things over and over. And your faith rises.

RR:  Just like the Bible, just like the Bible.
