PHIL: Anybody here have a manifestation of God’s touching you tonight?  Do you feel the presence of God here?  Give God praise one more time for what He’s done.  Amen.

You can be seated if you can.  This is what TBN is all about.  This is why I so love Paul and Jan and TBN.  And today Richard Roberts and I were talking.  Their passion is one thing.  They don’t care—I tell you what, they don’t care about anything but, are people going to saved, are people going to get healed?

You know, we don’t get a lot of instruction.  But Lindsay Roberts tell you what they do tell us here as hosts.  “Get people saved, get people healed, get Jesus on this floor.  Let Jesus do what He’s supposed to do.”

And you know what?  If we do our job right, we disappear and a voice within a voice, the work of the Holy Spirit, comes forth.  And if you have received any touch from the Lord today, seal it with worship right now.

Oral Roberts states that in just a moment Dino’s going to come and play.  And as he does, I want you to know, seal the deal with worship right now.  You say, “I think I got healed.”  Well, worship Him and seal that healing.

You know, the ten lepers, one came back and said, “Lord, I just want to thank You.”  And He says, “You’ve been made whole.”  ORU don’t know what the others were made, but that thanksgiving gave him a sealed deal of the healing.

PHIL: It’s a great honor to have with us today Dr. Richard Roberts.  I’d like you to give him a great welcome to TBN.  Blessings to you.

Richard Roberts: It’s an honor to be here.

PHIL: Well, we’re going to get right into the ministry of healing.  I just wanted to say that of course all of us, we love the Roberts family.  In fact, today we were just, dad and Richard and I were together with dad.  And I just want to tell you, at 90 years of age, he is a fireball.  And, Dr. Roberts, God bless you.  I know you’re watching right now.  And we just love you.  And we’re very excited about what God has done.

And in the future, we’ll be able to give you all the great details.  But I know many of you know there’s been a lot of changes that’s taken place, and they’re all good.  We’re so thankful and all.  And a lot of the goodness that’s happened at ORU and the transition that’s going on is because of your prayers.  It’s also because of the integrity and the heart that Richard has for the kingdom and for the legacy and for God.

And now Lindsay Roberts is involved in doing what his calling has always been, and that is to bring the voice of healing and hope to the world.  And, man, I’m so excited to see you just like a bird that is now with both wings flying into the mantle and the dimension that God has for you.

Oral Roberts: I feel it all over me, Phil.  In fact, as you were talking tonight and Cynthia was giving her testimony, as Randy was preaching, as Dino was playing, I heard the Lord say, “I’m going to heal crippled legs tonight.  I’m going to heal blind eyes tonight.  I’m going to heal deafness.  Cancers are going to fall off people’s bodies tonight.”

And thank God for TBN that allows that type of Holy Spirit ministry.  God’s going to heal people tonight.  And that’s a confirmation of His Word.  That’s what Randy was talking about.  That Word has to be confirmed with miracles and signs and wonders.

They say we live in a sight-and-sound generation.  Well, we live in a touching generation too.  People want to touch, and they want to be touched.  It’s like that little woman who said, “If I can touch the border of His garment, I’ll be healed.”  She made that garment a point of contact. What she was saying was, “When I release my faith, I’m going to receive the touch of God.  I may just touch His clothing, but my faith is going to touch Him.”  And people are going to touch Him tonight by their faith, and miracles are going to be the result.

You talk about scaring the willies out of you!  And then my dad moves to California, build this monstrosity in Tulsa, leave it with me and move to California—and laugh at me.  Every time Richard Roberts called him, he’d laugh and say, “I’m so glad it’s yours, not mine.”

I’d call him, “What are you doing?  Are you on your knees?”

“No, I’m on the golf course.”

“Well, aren’t you going to pray for me?”

“Yeah, when I finish playing golf.”

I’m back here dying, in my pity party.  And it looks like the university is going under back there.  I hadn’t been on the job for more than eight months, until it looked like the whole thing was going south and I would preside over the funeral of this institution, the institution that is now becoming the university of choice for the charismatic community of the earth.  (Response)

ORU is now becoming to the charismatic world what Harvard is to the brainiacs and what Brigham Young is to the Mormons, and what Notre Dame is to the Catholics.  ORU is becoming the university of choice for the charismatic community.  (Applause)

Did you know that the Who’s Who of families of the charismatic leaders all over the world are sending their children here?  Out of our 5,000 students, more than 600 or 700 of them are preacher’s kids, minister’s kids.

And I didn’t know that until Benny Hinn came to speak in chapel and said, “I want to lay hands on your 40 or 50 who are minister’s kids.  Six hundred came to the platform.  Benny got a workout that morning, and he laid hands on every one of them.

And Lindsay Roberts having my pity party, and God says, “Why don’t you shut up?  Why don’t you come away from here and find there?”

“Well, what are You talking about, God, You didn’t call me to be here.  I am here.  You put me here.”

That’s not what He meant.  He wasn’t talking about my changing physical locations this time.  He was talking about me.  He was saying, “You’re here, but I want you there.”

“Where’s there?”

He said, “That’s where joy is.”  He said, “You’re wallowing in your pity party of trying to figure out in the natural how you’re going to pay $60 million of debt, when you’re not ever going to do it in the natural because nobody is remotely interested in helping you get out of debt.” Oral Roberts University

The word of wisdom operates through believers, but we’ve got to be willing to step out in faith.  Sometimes things we say like that…. We don’t know.  We don’t understand, but we’ve got to be obedient to God. That will work through us.  It will work through you.

Don’t suppress it.  Don’t say, “I don’t want to do that.”  So many times God has me do things that I don’t want to do.  Anybody here that God has ever told you to do something that you didn’t want to do?  Put your hand up.  The rest of you are lying.

Number two is the word of knowledge.  Richard Roberts said the word of knowledge is supernatural information that’s not available to you by any natural source.  In II Kings chapter 6, every time the king of Syria made a battle plan against Israel, God gave Elisha a word of knowledge and gave him the battle plan to the game.  He gave him so many words of knowledge about the battle plans of Syria, that the king of Syria thought he had a spy in his own camp, in his own bedroom.  That was an operation of the word of knowledge.

Lindsay Roberts states when Jesus met the Samaritan woman in John chapter 4 He said, “Where’s your husband?”  She said, “I have none.”  And Jesus, by operating through the word of knowledge said, “You’re right.  You don’t have one; you’ve had five.  And the one you’re living with now is not your own.”  That was an operation of the word of knowledge.

How many times have you faced a situation where suddenly you knew something about someone and you know there is no way you could have known it?  What do we do as Christians?  We often say, “Well, I wonder where that came from?  Why that was unusual.  Oh, I can’t say that, they might be embarrassed.”  That’s the time that we have to be bold and be strong.

I remember I was invited to meet the President of Zambia some years ago.  Oral Roberts had been preaching in South Africa.  The Prescient of Zambia called me.  It happened to be one of the 40 nations that God had spoken to me about.

So I traveled up with another minister to Lusaka, the capitol of Zambia, had lunch with the President and his wife.  While we were praying on our knees, he invited me for a national crusade.  And I was so excited, because that’s the reason that I had gone. I knew that God had said to me, “The President of Zambia is going to invite you for a national crusade.”

I had my invitation.  I was ready to fly back to the states and make my plans when God said to me, “Tell Mrs. Chiluba that between her third and fourth child she developed a problem.  She was hospitalized and she’s not well yet.”

I said, “God, I don’t want to tell her that; You’ll mess up my crusade.”  (LAUGHTER)  “You tell her.”  And it came again and it came again.  That’s one way you can tell it’s the Holy Spirit; He just keeps on coming.

How many of you have come into a room and all of a sudden you say,  ”Huh, huh, huh, something doesn’t?-we would say-?doesn’t smell right, or doesn’t feel right.  Oh, that’s just?-no, it’s not just, just, just. More than not, it’s the Holy Spirit.  He’s showing you there’s something there.  He’s wanting you to prick up your spiritual ears and listen and hear.

Richard Roberts said the gift of the word of knowledge, the best description I can give of how the word of knowledge works-and it will work through every minister of the Gospel who will open themselves up to it-the best explanation I can possibly give is that a word of knowledge is supernatural information that comes to you when there is no way on earth you could know it.  And it will come, as we say, out of the blue.  And you’ll want to say, “Where did that come?  That’s the most unusual thing.  Where did that thought come from?”  It came from God.

I promise you, satan is not going to give you a word of knowledge.  It will not be for healing.  And you can always tell.  Someone said,  ”Well, how can I tell the difference between the voice of the Lord and the voice of the devil?”  I said, “If you can’t tell the difference between the voice of your best friend and your worst enemy, then you need to get saved.”  Because you can tell.

Now how does it operate?  Well, it operates through people differently.  Through me, Lindsay Roberts feel something in my body, like right now there’s a catch that’s in my right knee.  And there’s no catch in my right knee, and that’s God’s way of showing me that somebody’s getting healed right now in their knee.  It seems so simple, it seems so different, it seems so unusual, and yet it happens every time.

Oral Roberts said there are at least six people being healed in their knee right now.  I know because I just felt my knee pop.  And if you people that I’m describing will stand up and begin to move your knee, you’ll find that the knee pain is totally gone.  Now it’s an operation of the word of knowledge.  Go ahead, kick your knee. Come out in the aisle, examine yourself.  At least six of you.  Why six?  I don’t know.  God said that.  I didn’t say it.  Why not seven?  I don’t know.  He said six.  He said at least six.  It happens like that.

Now how many of you can tell, just now, you feel a warmth, and now there’s a healing in your knee and you know it?  Wave your hand at me. Well, that’s more than six.  Somebody give glory to God.  (Applause)

A reporter once said, “How do you describe the word of knowledge?”   The Holy Spirit said, “Don’t answer his question.  Ask him how long he’s had arthritis in his shoulder.”  And so I did, and he said,  ”Several years, but how did you know that?”  I said, “Because the Lord just gave me a word of knowledge about your shoulder, and your shoulder is healed.”

High blood sugar, be healed.  Low blood sugar, be healed in the authority of Jesus” name.  Heart disease, arteriolosclerosis, come out in the authority of Jesus” name.  Heart, be healed.  Thrombosis, be healed in the authority of Jesus? name.

Every brain wave be normal in Jesus” name.  Every tumor, every growth, be healed in Jesus” name.  Every cancer, you foul, tormenting thing, in the authority of Jesus” name, you take your hands off d’s property.  I pray for your blood to flow through every artery, every vein, every capillary.

Richard Roberts break every bondage, every blockage, in Jesus” name. thank You, Father, for healing kidneys tonight.  Thank You, Father, for healing livers.  Thank You for healing gallbladders.  Thank You for healing colons.  Thank You for healing intestinal tracts.  Thank You, Father, for healing, in Jesus” name.

Every ulcer, I speak to you in Jesus” name.  You come out, in the authority of Jesus” mighty name.  And I set my faith in an agreement with you tonight.   Every migraine, you leave in Jesus” name.  Every pain, every infirmity, you come out in Jesus” name.  Every paralysis, go.  Anyone on a walker, on a crutch, on a cane, in a wheelchair, in the authority of Jesus” name, we speak life into these legs.  We speak life into this body, in Jesus” mighty name.

Father, we give You the praise.  Thank You for healing blindness and glaucoma and cataracts and blurred vision.  In the authority of Jesus” name, eyes, see.  Eyes, see.  Ears,  in the authority of Jesus” name, we speak to deafness and Eustachian tube and eardrum problems and perforations.  In Jesus” name, be thou made whole.

Lindsay Roberts said Thank You, Lord, for healing lungs tonight.  Asthma andemphysema and allergies and lungs problems and fluid, be healed in the authority of Jesus” mighty name.  Thank You, Lord.  Thank You for healing…  Yes, yes, the incessant dysentery, in Jesus” name.  Thank You, Lord, for healing that right now.

Thank You, Lord, for healing us from the crowns of our heads to the soles of our feet.  Thank You, Lord Jesus. Lift your hands now and thank Him, thank Him, for the healing that’s taking place.  Thank Him.  Thank Him for the healing that’s taking place.  thank Him.  Thank Him for the healing that’s taking place.  …TONGUES…

Oral Roberts like to ask the trustees who are down here to come up and form a circle around me.  Just about a dozen of you  right here in the front.  About a dozen of you, come up here and stand around me.  Lindsay, honey, you come too. Marilyn, Wally.  Let’s get what we came for.  Let’s get what we came for in Jesus” name.   Lindsay, honey, come and lead us in prayer.

Oral Roberts University:  Father, in the name of Jesus we bind the devil right now. Satan, you will not touch God’s property.  Satan, we take authority over you.  My Bible says when I rebuke you, you must leave.  So in the name of Jesus, if one can put a thousand to flight and two can put ten thousand to flight, all of us in this building, satan, put you to flight in the name of Jesus.  We command you out of mind, we command you out of spirit, we command you out of bodies.  In the name of Jesus we declare that our youth shall be renewed like eagles, we declare that money cometh to the body of Christ, we declare that healing cometh to the body of Christ, we declare our right.

And, satan, you take your hands off God’s property.  In the name of Jesus we open heaven’s floodgates, and we command the rivers to flow from the north, the south, the east, and the west.  We call for divine inspiration, divine protection, divine provision.

And she wouldn’t let anything stop her.  Richard Roberts don’t know if she crawled through the crowd or not.  I have no idea.  The Bible does not say.  But in my imagine, I see her getting down on her knees and crawling through the crowd and saying, “Excuse me.  Please let me by.  I’ve had this issue of blood.  I’ve got to get to him.  If I can just touch the border of His garment, that’s my point of contact, and I’m going to get healed when I do.  I’m not going to leave her without getting what I came for.”  That’s what she was saying.

Lindsay Roberts states that somebody is getting healed in your right arm right now. And when she reached out and touched him, it was like she was standing in water and somebody turned on the electricity.  And the power of God went through her, and Jesus knew it.  He whirled around and said, “Who touched Me?”

Nobody touched Him.  She touched His clothing, but He said, “Who touched Me?”

Peter said, “Everybody is touching you.”

“No, no, no, no.  I felt the virtue, I felt the power, I felt the Spirit go forth from me.”

She told Him everything.  And He said, “Woman, your faith has made you whole.”

She wasn’t going home without her miracle.

Bartimaeus was the same way.  No matter how many times they told him to shut up, he cried the louder.  “Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.”

And Jesus stopped in His tracks.

Oral Roberts states that now there are two words that we hear in our society today.  We hear the word “supply” and we heard the word  ”demand.”  We hear the law of supply and demand.  Everybody say supply and demand.  …REPEAT…  There is a supply of sleazy pornographic movies in the United States, produced by Hollywood, because there’s a demand for it.  And as long as there’s a demand for it, there’s going to be a supply.

Like when you and Richard Roberts  sow our seeds of faith unto God like we did last night, which was unprecedented.  I’ve never seen anything like that since the founding of ICBM.  I’ve never witnessed it.  I’ve never been in a service, I don’t know about you, but I’ve never been in a service like last night.  I’ve never seen happen what happened spontaneously by the Holy Ghost like I saw last night.  That’s us as the body of Christ, setting our wings as we sow our seed and believe for God to open us the windows of heaven and pour us out a blessing where there shall not be room enough to receive it, believing that He will rebuke the devil for our sake.

Lindsay Roberts states sometimes the little eaglets refuse to come out of the nest.  And when they do the scientists tell us the mother will do two things:  First of all, she’ll stop bringing food and water.  You say, “Well, that sounds like me,? you know, too much month at the end of the money.  “I try.  Sometimes I mess it up.  God holds the provision off for a while until I get back on my knees and get back in that prayer room, get back into the Word of God.  And then God begins to open the floodgates again.”  We’re not waiting on Him; He’s waiting on us.

And then the scientists tell us that if that doesn’t work, the mother eagle will get up on the nest and take her wing and literally begin to beat the little eaglets out until they leave. You know, Oral Roberts think we oftentimes blame too much on the devil.  We give him too much credit, when God’s trying to launch us into something that He has especially for you, because there’s a dying, crying, sighing world out there that’s going to hell.  And I believe that many of them aren’t going to be touched unless you and I touch them.  We’ve got to do it.

What an eagle!  One other thing you need to know about eagles, when an eagle gets old, the eagle will fly off to a lonely, deserted place and there he will take his wings and up against the rocks he will pound them until every feather falls out.  The scientists have proved it.  And he’s there naked and exposed.  That’s that prayer room for us, where we come exposed to God, nothing hidden. ORU

Pretty soon, though, new feathers begin to grow, and new feathers means new life.  And the scientists say that when those new feathers on that old eagle are grown in, that eagle remains young and strong until it dies.  Do you want to be an eagle or do you want to be a turkey?

Lay your hand on yourself where you need healing.  (Tongues)  Sure, I’ll do that, Lord.  Ulcers … lay your hand on the stomach.  In the … ulcers are being healed now in Jesus’ mighty name.  I speak the word of healing into this stomach.  Ulcer, in the authority of the name of Jesus, I bind you now.  And there goes the healing right now.  Thank You, Father.  Thank You, Lord.  Thank You, Lord.  Thank You, Lord.  Thank You, Lord.  Several of you getting healed right now of ulcers.

Kidney, liver, lower tract, digestion, hernia, ulcer, bowel problems, in Jesus’ name, gall bladder, be made whole in the authority … a-ha, there goes healing into a back right now in Jesus’ name.  This is what I’m doing in Dallas tomorrow night at your station, Mike, tomorrow night, live, in Jesus’ name. (Tongues)

There’s sixteen people getting healed in your stomach right now.  Sixteen of you getting healed right now in your stomach. You’re feeling a rumbling in your stomach.  Ha, ha, that’s the power of God.  That’s God rumbling right now in your stomach. God’s healing sixteen of you right now.

Shoulders, in the authority of the name of Jesus, I lay hands on my shoulders as a point of contact.  In the authority of the … there it goes, Lindsay, right now.  In Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name.  Healing, come into the shoulder right now. Arthritis, I bind you and curse you  at the very root.

There’s a knee, a-ha, ha, three years you’ve had the problem with your knee.  Three years.  And all of a sudden there’s this fire going into your knee.  Whoever you are, if you’ll jump out in the aisle right now you’re going to find you’re able to climb those steps without any problem.  You’ve had it for three years, and God’s healing you now.  Where are you?  Jump out in the aisle quickly.  Jump out in the aisle.  Let’s find out who that person is.  Jump out right now in Jesus’ name.  The fire of God is on your knee right now in Jesus’ name.  You can move it.  You can lift it.

ER:  Anyway, the following week after God had shown him that he was looking to people instead of his Source, we got a letter from a man in Nigeria.  We had never heard of him.  We didn’t remember ever seeing him.  And he had a check in it – a good sized check. And he said, “Brother Roberts, I never have thanked you for the seminar that I attended many years ago in the late ’60s or early ?70s at ORU, when you taught us on seed-faith.

“I came to my country, and I taught it to my people, and they’re now believing God and looking to Him as their Source.  And I just want to thank you, and this is an offering to thank you.”

And I said to Oral, “You see how God works?”  You don’t look to a person.  This person may let you down, or this person may let you down.   They’re not made to carry your burdens.  But God will meet your need if you look to Him.

OR: My final word is this:  When you’re let down, when someone doesn’t help you – say you go to get a loan, and they turn you down; or they dismissed you, and you’ve lost your job; or you’ve lost something else.  Something happens in the family.  Something goes bad.  That’s the time to just stop? and think about our Source – God.  And then to plant a seed specifically.

There’s a girl on this campus that heard me teach seed-faith to the student body.  And she came to me, and she said, “I don’t have any money to give to God.  I’m trying to get through school.”

I said, “Do you have any time?”  

She said, “I don’t have any time.  I just run from my room to classroom, and so on.”

I said, “We need volunteers down in the Prayer Tower.  Why don’t you go down there a few minutes or an hour every day or two and give your time to greet the public as they come and see the Prayer Tower?”

She said, “Why should I do that?  I don’t have enough time now.”

I said, “Make it a seed of your faith for what you need.  If you need money to get on through ORU, or you need more time, you plant that as a seed, and you’ll see that God will multiply.”

Well, I didn’t know if she heard me or not.  But in 2 or 3 weeks, I saw her again.  And this time she was very excited.  She said, “I took your advice.  Everything has turned in my favor.”
