The Miracle Of Smile And Eating by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

Then I went to meet the Minister of Health, and we talked about our medical and dental and nursing team that we have brought with us.  And I told the story of how we brought the doctors and dentists and nurses.  There were also many in that office that wanted prayer.  And I prayed for them all.

God is the source of all healing.  He heals through prayer, and He also heals through the work of the doctor.  There is no conflict.  And I want to ask our medical and dental and nursing team to stand up, please, all the team, all of them stand up.  Give them a God bless you.  (Applause)

Where’s Dr. Payas?  Dr. Payas is a dentist.  And she and her staff have been with me in many rallies like this.  I want Dr. Payas to give a word of testimony.  Put your hands together and welcome her.  (Applause)

DR. PAYAS: Thank you very much.  Hallelujah!  We came to Niger to bless Niger, but we have been blessed by Niger.  The Nigerian people have greeted us warmly.  They have opened their arms and greeted us with such friendliness.  They have shown us their love.

Today I went to the national hospital of Niger and of Niamey.  I made a gift to the hospital to help make denture teeth or prosthetics, prosthetics, teeth.  The dentists were so happy.  They said it was a miracle that we had brought so much for them.

They had been watching the TV, and they’d seen the miracles at the rally.  They had seen the eyes that had been opened.  They had seen the miracles of the ears that could now hear.  And with the gift that we gave them, the miracle of smile and eating.

We have seen 100 patients in the clinic.  We have helped them to get out of pain, we have helped them remove pain.  We have taken out the teeth, but God is the one who will heal them.

And tonight we want you to expect your miracle.  We now love the people of Niger, and God loves the people of Niger.  And there will be miracles tonight.  Thank you very much.  Expect a miracle.  God is here.  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!

RR: Hallelujah!  Thank you, Dr. Payas.  We have brought a team of nurses also from the university.  We’re raising up nurses, and they’re going all over the world.  I want Christiana to come up here.  I want you to meet one of our student nurses.  They’re in very high demand, and this trip is part of their training.

This is Christiana.  Give her a welcome.  (Applause)

Lift your hands unto God by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

Lift your hands.  Say, “I receive my healing in the name of Jesus.  I look to You.  You are God, and I receive my healing.  I receive healing in my head.  I receive healing in my chest.  I receive healing in my back.  I receive healing in my stomach.  I receive healing in my legs.  I receive healing in every organ of my body.  And I thank You.”

Lift your hands unto God.  Thank Him.  Give Him praise.  People are getting healed all over this field tonight.  Cripples are beginning to walk.  Eyes are beginning to see.  Deafness is beginning to come out.  Legs are beginning to walk.  Pain is leaving people’s body.  Cancer is coming out.  Sickness and disease is beginning to go.

Lift your hands unto the Lord.  Give Him honor.  Give Him glory in this place.  If you’re receiving a healing, you can walk, if you’re hearing, if you’re seeing, if the pain is gone, if you can tell you’re being healed, come quickly to the platform.  Come to the platform.  Come to this side, or come to this side.  And come on the platform and give a testimony and let the people know, let the people know that God is a live God.

If you’re receiving a healing, come forward.  If you’re walking better, come quickly.  If you’re seeing better, come quickly.  If you’re beginning to hear, come forward.  Bring me those crutches.  Young man, give me those crutches, young man.  Young man, bring me those crutches.  Bring me those crutches.  (Response)  Bring me those crutches.  Bring me those crutches.  Hallelujah!  Bring me those crutches.  Bring me those crutches.

If you’re receiving a touch from God, come to the platform.  Let the people know what God is doing.  If you’re seeing better, if you’re hearing better—bring them to me.  There’s a healing over there.  There’s a healing over there.  Bring that person to me.  Bring that person to me if they received a healing, you can tell they’ve been healed.

If your blind eye is healed, come to the platform.  If your deaf ear is healed, come to the platform.  If you’re walking now, come to the platform.  Bring me that crutch.  Bring me that crutch.  Bring me that crutch.  Bring me that crutch.

The gifts of the Spirit by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

The scriptures the gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians, chapter 12, the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, the gift of faith, the working of miracles, and so on.  There are nine gifts.

One of those gifts is the word of knowledge.  The word of knowledge is supernatural information from God.  God said the word of knowledge will work through me.  And my wife and I got our Bibles, and we began to study every healing scripture we could find.

And we came to Mark, chapter 11, where it says, “What things so ever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”

She and I said to the Lord, “Our desire is for a healing ministry.  We believe it is Your will because You spoke it to us.  And so by faith”—listen to me tonight—“by faith”—everyone say, by faith (Response)—“by faith we receive a healing ministry.”

We did not ask Him a second time.  We believed by faith we had it.  We did not yet have the manifestation, but we had it by faith.  And every day that went by, we thanked the Lord for the healing ministry that we believed was on the way.  No one was getting healed, yet by faith we had a healing ministry.

Listen to me, my friends in Ibadan, faith is what you hold onto until you receive what you are believing for.  If you have naira in your hand, you have no need of faith for naira.  It is when you have no naira that you need faith to believe for naira.  So then faith is what you hold onto until you receive what you are believing for.  And we held on to what God had said.

Days passed, weeks passed, months passed, no one was being healed.  But we held on to our faith, confessing a healing ministry.  God had said it.  Some people say, “God said it, I believe it, and that settles it for me.”

But I have a better one than that.  “God said it, and that settles it whether you believe it or not.”

And I believed it.  Months passed.  We kept studying our Bibles.  We came across every healing scripture in this Word.  “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”  Exodus 15:26, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

First John 3:8, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.”

RR:Where were you when we prayed?  Where were you standing or sitting?  Where were you?  Way out there?  What did you feel?

LADY:I felt something crack.

RR: You felt a crack.

LADY: Crack in my joint, yes.

RR: Then what?

LADY: The pain disappeared and the swelling disappeared.

RR: No swelling?

LADY: No swelling.

RR: No pain in your joints?  No pain?  And you’re healed tonight?

LADY: Yes.

RR: Hallelujah!

DEBBIE: Richard, this man had neck pain and stiffness for ten years.  Now totally healed.

RR: Ten years?  What happened tonight when we prayed?

MAN: No more pain.

RR:  No more pain.

RR: In car?  A motor accident.  And you’ve not been able to bend or move your knees?  Every day.

LADY:(Inaudible)

RR: It’s gone?  Bend down.  Hallelujah!

DEBBIE: Richard, this woman had a painful growth in her stomach, a big water-filled kind of cyst that she felt in her stomach—now completely gone.

RR: What did you feel when we prayed?

LADY: When you were praying it disappeared.

RR: When we were praying it disappeared?

LADY: Yes.

RR: You’re sure?

LADY: Yes.

RR: Oh, we give glory unto the Lord.  Hallelujah!  Lift your hands unto the Lord tonight.  Give Him praise.  Give Him honor.  Give Him glory in this place.

MAN: Richard, since this lady was little, she had pain in her neck.  Whenever she would move it, she’d feel pain.  The pain is gone tonight.

RR: What did you feel tonight?

LADY: Hallelujah!

Jesus’ Name by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

RR: Dr. Abiara, I’m honored to be here tonight.  I am overwhelmed by what I’ve seen, and I thank God.  This is Nigeria’s finest hour.  I want to thank you and all of these sponsoring ministers.  The Holy Spirit is a gentleman.  He goes where He is invited.  I am also a gentleman, and I go where I am invited.  And I thank you for inviting me to Ibadan.  Amen.

Tonight I look like I’m Nigerian.  Tonight I am becoming an honorary Nigerian.  Stand on your feet with me.  Take your handkerchief and wave unto the Lord.  Hallelujah!  We give You praise.  We give You honor.  We give You glory.  We thank You that You are here today, that You’re still in the saving business, You’re still in the healing business, You’re still in the miracle business.  You never changed.  You’re the same yesterday, today, and forever.  And we give You praise, in Jesus’ name, amen.  Amen.  Hallelujah!  Amen.  You may be seated.

I wish my wife were here to see this tonight.  I wish my daughters were here to see this tonight, to see this stadium filled and to know that tonight is a night to pray for Nigeria.  But how do we pray for Nigeria?  What do we do tonight to prepare the way for the healings, for the miracles?

As I was sitting here tonight and as we were worshipping the Lord, God gave me a scripture.  It is not the scripture that I planned to preach on tonight, but as I sat there, God gave me a different scripture.

He said, “Don’t preach what you had planned.”  And He directed me to Philippians, chapter 2, where the Bible says, “God has highly exalted the name of Jesus, and he has given him a name which is above every name named in heaven and earth, and that at that name every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Miracles by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

It is time to expect a new miracle every day.  God has a due season.  The Bible says, “If you don’t give up, you shall receive in due season.”  That’s why I’ve come expecting miracles.  Every day I wake up, and I say, “Today, God, I’m expecting a new miracle.”  The phone rings, “Is this my miracle?”  Someone knocks on my door, “Is this my miracle?”  Someone comes to see me, “Is this my miracle?”  I see someone in the shop, “Is this my miracle?”  I see someone in the university, “Is this my miracle?”  I see someone in my office, “Is this my miracle?”

I’m looking.  I’m searching.  I’m trusting God.  I’m expecting His miracle supply.  Lift your hands and give praise to the Lord tonight.  Say, “I’m expecting.  I’m expecting.  I’m expecting a new miracle, in Jesus’ name.”  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  Praise God.

I want you to stand for a moment.  I’m going to pray a healing prayer.  And when I do, I believe God is going to begin to perform miracles.  We saw miracles on Wednesday night.  We saw miracles on Thursday.  We saw miracles last night.  And I believe we’re going to see miracles tonight.

This afternoon as I was praying, the Lord said, “Start with feet and legs.”  You who are hurting in your feet and legs, get ready for prayer.  Lay your hand on your feet or your legs.  In the authority of Jesus’ name, thank You that You took a stripe on Your back for feet and legs.

I speak to pain in feet and legs, in Jesus’ name.  I pray for healing.  Lift your hands unto the Lord as I pray tonight.  Father, I speak to pain in feet and legs.  I speak to crooked legs.  I speak to that bone that’s not right.  I speak to the crooked foot.  I speak to the pain in the foot and the ankle and the knee and up into the hip.

Call your name to God by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

So I’m delivering what the Lord said to me this afternoon in the airplane.  And I’m going to be obedient.  I’m going to be the first of ten.  Our ministry is going to plant a $5,000 seed.  We’re going to do ours.  We’ll do ours in $1,000 increments.

Others of you can get prepared because I’m going to pray.  And when I pray, I’m expecting the Holy Spirit to speak.  And when He does, then I want you to go to your telephone and say, “Here’s what the Lord said to me as Richard prayed.”

Now when you call, I want you to be sure and give them not only your name and where you’re from and the place and all that, but I also want you to tell them what you’re believing for.  Because in a few minutes, I’m going to ask Ron and Norma and the others if they’ll give me permission to go into the room where the phones are.  And I want to take the little pledge sheets—I’m guessing it’s about this size.  I don’t know—something like this.  But I want to hold it in my hand.

Let’s just say the first gift is from John, John and Mary.  Okay, John and Mary, I’m going to lay my hands on your request, these hands that have laid hands on hundreds of thousands of people in my lifetime and seen tremendous miracles.  I’m going to lay my hands on your name and on your need.  So be sure and let the prayer partner know what your need is.  And I’m going to lay hands on every one of your names tonight, and I’m going to call your name to God with all the faith that is within me.

You don’t have to put up with a recession.  It may be going on around you like it was with Isaac.  But Isaac sowed in famine.  In the middle of recession, he sowed, and God brought a hundredfold harvest.

Divine Moments in the Bible by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

Now I was thinking of these divine moments in the Bible.  Another divine moment is Zacchaeus.  Zacchaeus was a little short guy, and Zacchaeus got a glimpse of Jesus, but he couldn’t really see Him because of his shortness of stature.  And so he ran ahead, the Bible says, and he climbed a sycamore tree.

And Jesus recognized him and called him down and said, “I’m going to eat in your house.”  Now this was a divine moment.  It was a life-changing moment for Zacchaeus, for Zacchaeus was a hated tax official.  Everyone hated him.  He had cheated lots of people, and he admitted it.  “People that I have cheated,” he said, “I will restore fourfold.”

Right in the middle of the circumstances that you’re in, you can face a divine moment.  And Zacchaeus faced a divine moment, and God turned the tremendous table on him.  And he came in to the kingdom of God.

Another example of a divine moment is the woman at the well.  And after Jesus had said, “If you will give me a drink, I’ll have just this one sip.  But if you drink of what I have, you’ll never thirst again.”

And of course they got into quite a discourse there.  She was a hated Samaritan.  She was a half-breed.  And in those days, they hated the Samaritans.  It was against the Jewish law for him even to go into the town, and yet He asked her for a drink of water.

And it’s an amazing situation.  He said, “Where is your husband.”  And she said, “Well, I don’t have a husband.”  “Well, you’re right.  You’ve had five, and the one you’re living with now isn’t your own.”  And they had quite a moment there, and it was a divine moment for this woman.

Now why am I saying these stories about these divine moments?  That woman became an evangelist.  She went into town and told everybody about a man who had told her everything that she had done.  That’s speaking the word of God.

Because tonight is a divine moment.  Now you read the Bible and you say, “Wasn’t that great?  Isn’t that wonderful?  Look at all these things that you did with the Roman army captain.  Look at what you did with the man’s daughter.  Look at the woman at the well.  Look at Zacchaeus.  Look at Joseph.  Look at David.  Look at Daniel.  Look at all these men and women in the Bible who had great miracles in their life.  But what about me in 2008?”

Well, I’ve got news.  The God of the Bible is the God of the now, right now.  He said, “I am the Lord, I change not.”  The same God who brought miracles in Bible days, the same God who brought defining, divine moments in people’s lives is the same God to deliver you tonight.

The work of the Holy Spirit by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

PHIL: Anybody here have a manifestation of God’s touching you tonight?  Do you feel the presence of God here?  Give God praise one more time for what He’s done.  Amen.

You can be seated if you can.  This is what TBN is all about.  This is why I so love Paul and Jan and TBN.  And today Richard and I were talking.  Their passion is one thing.  They don’t care—I tell you what, they don’t care about anything but, are people going to saved, are people going to get healed?

You know, we don’t get a lot of instruction.  But I tell you what they do tell us here as hosts.  “Get people saved, get people healed, get Jesus on this floor.  Let Jesus do what He’s supposed to do.”

And you know what?  If we do our job right, we disappear and a voice within a voice, the work of the Holy Spirit, comes forth.  And if you have received any touch from the Lord today, seal it with worship right now.

In just a moment Dino’s going to come and play.  And as he does, I want you to know, seal the deal with worship right now.  You say, “I think I got healed.”  Well, worship Him and seal that healing.

You know, the ten lepers, one came back and said, “Lord, I just want to thank You.”  And He says, “You’ve been made whole.”  I don’t know what the others were made, but that thanksgiving gave him a sealed deal of the healing.

A Divine Moment by Richard Roberts

Richard Roberts Comments Off

PHIL: It’s a great honor to have with us today Dr. Richard Roberts.  I’d like you to give him a great welcome to TBN.  Blessings to you.

RR: It’s an honor to be here.

PHIL: Well, we’re going to get right into the ministry of healing.  I just wanted to say that of course all of us, we love the Roberts family.  In fact, today we were just, dad and Richard and I were together with dad.  And I just want to tell you, at 90 years of age, he is a fireball.  And, Dr. Roberts, God bless you.  I know you’re watching right now.  And we just love you.  And we’re very excited about what God has done.

And in the future, we’ll be able to give you all the great details.  But I know many of you know there’s been a lot of changes that’s taken place, and they’re all good.  We’re so thankful and all.  And a lot of the goodness that’s happened at ORU and the transition that’s going on is because of your prayers.  It’s also because of the integrity and the heart that Richard has for the kingdom and for the legacy and for God.

And now Richard Roberts is involved in doing what his calling has always been, and that is to bring the voice of healing and hope to the world.  And, man, I’m so excited to see you just like a bird that is now with both wings flying into the mantle and the dimension that God has for you.

RR: I feel it all over me, Phil.  In fact, as you were talking tonight and Cynthia was giving her testimony, as Randy was preaching, as Dino was playing, I heard the Lord say, “I’m going to heal crippled legs tonight.  I’m going to heal blind eyes tonight.  I’m going to heal deafness.  Cancers are going to fall off people’s bodies tonight.”

And thank God for TBN that allows that type of Holy Spirit ministry.  God’s going to heal people tonight.  And that’s a confirmation of His Word.  That’s what Randy was talking about.  That Word has to be confirmed with miracles and signs and wonders.

They say we live in a sight-and-sound generation.  Well, we live in a touching generation too.  People want to touch, and they want to be touched.  It’s like that little woman who said, “If I can touch the border of His garment, I’ll be healed.”  She made that garment a point of contact.

What she was saying was, “When I release my faith, I’m going to receive the touch of God.  I may just touch His clothing, but my faith is going to touch Him.”  And people are going to touch Him tonight by their faith, and miracles are going to be the result.
