RR: Well, give a shout to the Lord this morning.  (Response)  God bless you.  You can be seated.  Well, Lindsay, I may have tripped  over that cord, honey, but I didn’t have on a green bathrobe.

LR: I’m sorry I laughed.  I apologize.

RR: The last time you preached, you put one of those pieces of tape over my mouth and then you ripped it off.  Wow!  Wow!  Can you say amen?  (Amen)  Hallelujah!

God’s healing sixteen people in their shoulders right now in the authority of Jesus” name.  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  All sixteen of you stand right now.  God’s healing people’s shoulders right now in the authority of Jesus” name.  Just begin to lift and move your shoulder.  Pain is leaving now.  It’s going now. That which you could not lift without pain is being healed right now.

Come on, just go ahead and move it.  You who could not move it without pain, you who had a frozen shoulder, you with a broken collarbone, you who couldn’t lift it up and down without you going, “Oh, oh, oh, oh!?-now you can lift it all the way up. Come on, come on, come on.  At least sixteen of you, at least sixteen of you being healed right now.

How many, you can tell just since you stood you’re already moving your shoulder better.  Put your hand up in the air. (Counting)  Seventeen just in that section.  Glory to God!  Give the Lord praise.  (Response)  Hallelujah!  Give the Lord a shout. (Response)  Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

Father, in the authority of the name of Jesus, we bless You and praise You.  Thank You, yes, thank You for healing the right ear drum right now.  Thank You, Lord, for healing the right ear drum and the pain that goes down the back of the hip and down into the leg.  Thank You for healing now in Jesus” name.

Lord, have Your way during this service this morning.  Thank You for the message that You’ve laid on my heart.  Thank You that You confirm it.  You’re already confirming it.  You’re confirming Lindsay’s word with signs and wonders.  Thank You, Father, for healing the left side of the back right now in the authority of Jesus” name.  Just lift your hands and give God praise right now.  People are being healed all over this congregation, all over this congregation.

He had been with a rabbi, and the rabbi began to answer questions for Oral, and Oral began to dump it into my lap, and I began to do what I always do.  I went out and got every book I could find.  I went to every person I could find that could help me study it.  I went to the original originals, and we tore through every piece of material we could get our hands on.

And by the time we got finished, we realized that Melchizedek was a priest and a king.  He was the king of Salem, and he was the priest of Salem.  Now when you talk about it in all kinds of scriptural reference, and I can give you every one of them.  All of it refers to El Elyon, the most high.  He was the priest of the most high of the most high order.  Keep the word order in the back of your mind for a little while.

He was of the order of the most high.  Now that gave him a spiritual authority.  Now notice something really wacky here.  He didn’t have any parents, no beginning, no end.  Sound a little alpha and omega to you?  We’re getting a little bit of a revelation here that this guy is of the most high, possessor of heaven and earth, one who delivers from all of our enemies.  Keep those three things in the back of your mind.  One, two, and three.  God always does things in threes.  The Holy Trinity.  There’s a reason why. I’m going to show you that in a minute.

So Melchizedek, the priest of Salem, who is also the king of Salem, he is a priest and a king.  Do you know what that means?  A priest and a king means you rule and reign. What is Jesus going to do, and what are we to do with Him? Rule and reign forevermore.  Are you getting some-we’re getting here.  We’re going to start at Genesis, go all the way through to Revelation.  We’re getting something here.

Now he walks you through the lineage of Melchizedek, which is no lineage because they have no appearance of parenting.  He appears in the form of what?  It’s real simple.  A spirit.  And how can he bless with anything but what he is made of?  He is a priest of the most high God of El Elyon Himself.

Well, God has to get His presence into the earth somewhere, somehow.  So the only way He can take His presence out of heaven and put it into the earth is to put it in some form of a being.  God’s a spirit.  We worship Him in spirit and in truth.  Don’t limit Him to babies and ducks and dogs.  He can do whatever He wants.  He’s God.

And I have watched the body of Christ begin to aim for the body.  And they think they’re so dressed and they’re so pressed.  Sorry.  Just want to make sure all the parts are covered.  And we get so tangled that we have no clue what’s under there anymore.

My father-in-law just walked in.  Now it’s not fair to see this sermon halfway in between.  But, you know, you didn’t know what you bargained for twenty-one years ago when I came into this family.  And yet-stand still-hold this microphone.  All of the sudden when we get a real revelation, not a human revelation, not a flesh revelation, not some kind of, “I’m doing it because my neighbor does it and she’s got a bigger house, so I’m going to be a preacher,? and no because, “Oh, my gosh, she looks so good on TV that I want my hair like that and I’m going to wear the kind of clothes Joyce Meyer wears and I’m going to do this and I’m going to do that.”  And you go out there and you were so spiritually naked, you wonder why you get plowed over on every turn.

But then all of the sudden you get more word, and you get more word.  Wait.  And you realize you’re finally dressed for the occasion.  (Applause)  Do you know what you are?  You’re dressed to kill.  You’re dressed to kill anything that satan throws at you.

But if you walk out of your house in your spiritual green bathrobe and your spiritual Mickey Mouse and your spiritual red slippers and you’re getting beat up on every turn, it’s time to go back to “oh, my word!”  “My son, give attention to my word.”  Give attention to my word.  Give attention to my word.  Why?  Because there’s life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.

Now I want to talk to you a little bit about the battle.  Let’s talk a little bit about war.  Now if I Thessalonians 5:22 says “Avoid the very appearance of evil,? that’s great.  And I love people who give us a lot of good advice.  And when we can avoid the very appearance of evil and we begin to avoid the appearance of evil and we begin to get dressed for the occasion and we begin to get scrubbed and we begin to get tubbed and we begin to get everything else that comes along for the party, and then you get more Word and you get more Word and you get more Word, and you begin to avoid the very appearance of evil and you begin to step out and you begin to launch out and you begin to get a little tiny bit wet, you’re still dangerous.

Lift those hands up in the presence of the Lord right now. And say, “Lord, I cast down imaginations, every image that exalts itself against what I know about You.  And I bring into captivity every thought, all my thoughts, to the obedience of God.  And I am ready to avenge disobedience when my own obedience is fulfilled.”

Pull down the strongholds right now in the name of Jesus. Just snatch it down and put it under your feet and stomp on it. Snatch it down, put it under your feet and stomp on it.  Say, “The devil is under my feet,” and give God praise and glory. Come on, give God praise and glory.  Give Him praise and glory. (Applause)  What a word, what a word, what a word!

Put your hand on your head for just a moment and let’s pray.  Jesus, I surrender my thought life to  You.  Jesus, perception is the ultimate reality, but not necessarily the ultimate truth. Give me the ultimate truth beyond the way I perceive some things.  Let me see it the way You see it and view it the way you view it.  Deliver my mind.  Set me free in my thought life.  I bring every thought captivity to the obedience of Christ.  And in the name of Jesus, I pronounce myself free, loosed and delivered in the name of Jesus.  (Response)  Well, give Him praise one more time.  Give Him glory one more time.  Bless the Lord.  (Response)  Bless the Lord, bless the Lord, bless the Lord.  Give somebody a high five and say, “I can handle this.”  This is pretty awesome.

Even what you heard last night, all the tapes of these conferences are going to be made available to you.  And as Richard said, one of the preachers said, “I’ve got 77 new messages.”  I believe that investing into it, you’re appropriating the spirit of this meeting … or 22.  Did I say 77?  But I said that by faith because God enlarges everything that Richard … a thousand times more, a thousand, thousand, thousand.

And knowing Chloe well, I said, “What are you doing that you’d better tell me about now?”  She said, “Mom, this is so big, you’re really going to have to punish me.”  Now if she’s admitting it, I knew, “O, Father God, help me.”

So as she went flying up the stairs with pans in her hand, I went flying up in the stairs with my hand in my hands … figure that one out.  Yes, you know what I was about to do.  And I saw that they had reenacted “I Love Lucy,” stuffed the drains, got the water filled to the top.  But in order to get out, they had to open the door.  And they did.  And it was on the second story.  The water gushed all the way through, went through the entire security system of the house, blew the whole thing out, blew out the electrical.

And while the water was dripping down the first floor and peeling the ceiling right off the tiles … just going down … I looked at my daughter, Chloe, and I said, “Chloe, I’m going to give you one chance to say something to me that will save your life at this very moment.  So before you answer, think about what you’re going to say because it’s very important to you.”

And she looked me straight in the face, and in typical Oral Roberts’ fashion, she said, “Mother, my heart said no, but my head said, ‘Just do it.’”  She said, “Mama, I want you to teach me how to tell the difference.”  Saved her life at that moment.

You see, many times our heart tells us to do one thing.  The Spirit of God can come on us so fast and in an instant we know what to do.  It doesn’t bother us a bit.  Hallelujah, glory, thank You, Jesus.  We know what to do.  It feels good.  And yet our head, the logical, practical, analytical, financial side of us says, “You can’t get away with that.”  So you know what we do?  We obey our head and not our heart, and then we just totally gully wash all the plans of God until we ruin everything.      

And God is teaching us if you’ll get in tune with His Word … you know, God writes like He talks and He talks like Hewrites.  And when He speaks to us in the still, small voice, He speaks to our heart.  And if we’ll just listen and obey, we can avoid the “I Love Lucy” catastrophes of the earth, if we just listen.

Do you know the difference between a good idea and a God idea?  One “o”.  Now you may be running around doing a bunch of good ideas, but the difference between a good idea and a God idea is just “o.”

And I want to show you how to avoid the distractions of life and how not to be fooled by some of the distractions that satan has.  Billy Joe, would you come up here a minute?  Well now, I was going to do this to Jerry Savelle and I told him, “If you come, I’m going to use you as an example,” and I don’t see him. I think he ran and hid.

God set it up. First of all, He put all the gold and silver in the earth. He said to take dominion over the earth. He said to subdue the earth.

RR: He said replenish.

LR: That’s right.  And I believe that if we don’t do what His Word says He said, “I gave you power to get wealth.  I put the gold and silver in the earth. I told you to take dominion over the earth, what I put in it, and I gave you power to subdue the earth.  Are you doing it?”

RR: He also said, “I give seed to the sower.”

LR: If you aren’t in that category, then you are in disobedience to the Word of God.  How do you get into obedience?  You get into God’s plan, does it His way?  How is that?  As long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest.  We do the seedtime, He does the harvest.  We get into obedience.  He gets into multiplication, and guess what happens?  The spirit of debt is broken off the backs of Christians.  That’s what happens.

RR: When you call, if the Lord moves on your heart to help ORU by sowing seed and believing for your own need to be met, be sure and aim it.

LR: Debt is anything you don’t have enough of.  Debt is anything that’s lacking.  And, I’m telling you, if you’re operating in sickness and disease, that’s debt.  That is debt to your physical body.  And you do not need to operate in sickness and disease and lack in your physical body.  I believe we can break the power of debt over our own physical body.  And we have debt in areas we need to break off.

RR: Pray over people who are sowing seed to break the debt in their body, the sickness and disease.  Pray over them right now.

LR: My word does not mean anything as far as this is concerned. I want you to understand that.  Nothing that I say means squat unless it lines up with the Word of God, because God said He watches over His Word to perform it.  But He said in Malachi, “When you bring tithe and offering into the storehouse,” or into the work of God, “and prove me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, I will open you the windows of heaven, pour you out a blessing where there will not be room enough to receive it.

Probably the greatest thing Oral Roberts University prepared me to do was to be a Christian man, to help me have a disciplined lifestyle with which I could function well in life, not only as a businessman, as a doctor, but also as a husband, also as a father.

I think one of the greatest things that I took away from Oral Roberts University was a spiritual sense of who I was, but also I think Richard Roberts has a saying, “It’s a lifestyle with an education.”  So hopefully I’ve been able to integrate all that and continue that in my life.

RR: And that’s what makes the difference, Lindsay.  This is not just an educational institution.  This is a lifestyle that has in the middle of it an education.  That’s what makes the difference, as you were listening and watching the doctor.

John from Rockwood, Florida is calling, flipping through the channels and felt warmth.  The pain is totally gone in his neck.  And Evelyn called from Kingsport, Tennessee, has had ringing in one of her ears for 30 years, and lay her, she said, “It’s wonderful to hear again.”  The ringing is gone after 30 years of her ear ringing.  Praise the Lord.

LR: This lady called in, said she called for prayer after you had a word of knowledge about kidneys.  Her right kidney had blocked for over eight months.  The doctor was going to do surgery.  She had incredible pain.  And after the prayer with the prayer partners, she said, “The doctor did not have to operate,” and said, “The kidney is functioning normally.”  Yea!

Hello, Sue, what do you have?

SUE: I have Eric, who is six years old, in Las Banas, California. When I called to check on him, sometimes I call and check and see if everything’s okay when we have prayers come in.  He answered the phone and he says, “I’ve been waiting on you.”  He’s been waiting on his miracle.

RR: Well, Sandra, I, well, what happened, Sandra?

S: Well, I turned on the TV.  I generally listen to 21, but I don’t know why, I’ve always missed your program, but you and your wife were on and you gave, you know, prayer for healing and knowledge. And I did, I prayed with you. And I went to the bedroom and I got down on my knees, and, Richard, that’s something I hadn’t done in four years.  I hadn’t been able to use my knees, and I was down there for a whole hour asking for forgiveness and praying.  And when I got up, there was no more pain.

RR: Did you notice, Robin and Marilyn, she was asking forgiveness. Forgiveness was a part of it, wasn’t it, Sandra?

S: It sure was.

RR: Wow!  And you’ve gone from a cane

S: Yeah, I started out, I always lay in bed, I couldn’t stand up. And, Richard, you know, I’ve had scoliosis since birth and I cannot sit other than driving or for a mealtime.  And ever since that healing, I’ve been able to sit and enjoy company, and I don’t have to stand all the time anymore.

RR: And you’re walking normally?

S: I walk normal.

LR: You said up and down stairs even?

S: Up and down stairs and I can lift myself up on a chair if I had to change a light bulb.  In bed I would have to have somebody assist me to turn over because it was so bad.  I don’t have that problem no more.

RR: Oh, glory to God!  Sandra thanks for calling.  What a wonderful testimony.  There’s a person, your muscles in your arm have deteriorated.  It’s almost like atrophy, and God’s healing you right now, right now.  Whoever you are, get up and call the Prayer Group at 918-495-7777.

I’m still waiting to hear Robin, last night I gave a word of knowledge about a person with a withered arm.  One arm was half the size of the other arm.  I’m still waiting on that person to call and let me know what has happened, because the arm began to grow.  Sometimes when I give a word, I get an instant response.

Sometimes I get it the next day.  Sometimes I get it the next week.  Sometimes like Sandra, a couple of weeks later I’ll hear the word back from the person as people see this program.  But I’ll tell you, I am so fired up tonight.  Wow!  Lynwood, what’s happening?

RR: Now what are you sensing in your heart?

RG: Well, I agree with what, exactly what you were saying in the first half hour of the program, particularly from Acts, chapter 5.  They prayed, “Lord, stretch forth thine hands to heal,” you know, “in the name of thy holy Son Jesus.”  And that was Acts, chapter 4.  I’m sorry.  But in Acts, chapter 5, it was manifested through the apostles.

So what you’re doing is absolutely scriptural and that anointing flows through the hands of those that believe.  So God is using signs and wonders to captivate the lost and then having someone preach the Gospel to them that they might be saved.  As you read in Acts, chapter 5, after the signs and wonders, multitudes were added to the church.

RR: And isn’t that the bottom line, Marilyn, getting people baptized in the Holy Spirit, and the miracles. Well, the Bible, I think it’s in John 6:2, says that the multitude followed Jesus because of the miracles that He did.  I mean, they were captivated by the miracles and yet they stayed tuned and they came to God in their lives.

MG: Yes, it is a form of attracting attention of the people so that we can get the Gospel to them.

RG: In today’s world we have to show that God is God, that He is God all by himself.  Psychics, astrologers, root workers, palm readers, they cannot help the people.  Only our God can do it. And I’m always reminded of Elijah, where he said, “Why halt ye between two opinions?  If God is God, let us serve him.  If Baal is God, let’s serve Baal.”  In other words, Elijah was saying there has to be a demonstration of the power of God, and that’s the hour that we’re in.  And that’s why there are so many miracles and the supernatural operating through your ministry.

RR: About eight months ago, God gave a word of prophecy to my father, Oral Roberts, and in that word of prophecy was a phrase where “healing is coming big time.”

RG: Praise God.

MG: Well, you know, Richard, I have been experiencing that.  We’ve been seeing that in Charlotte.  I have been seeing God move more in the realm of healing and miracles, creative miracles, as well as healing in our ministry.  It’s definitely been an increase where we are as well.

RR: Any testimony in particular that stands out in your mind, Marilyn?
