SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS I know it.  I had it in here earlier.  There is one about a father whose son received Christ through this film and I wanted to share it with you.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Yes.  You pulled it out.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Here is another one.  This is from Mansfield, Massachusetts.  Richard, my son Robert had already been accepted to a couple of universities but I did not want him to attend a secular university.  I talked him into coming down to ORU for your Easter college weekend seminar. Praise God, when he came home it was like having a new son.  He was so ecstatic about ORU and said that he had definitely decided to go to ORU.  He was born 18 years ago on Easter Sunday and while there at your college weekend seminar at ORU, in the Sunday morning Easter morning service, he was born again.”  (APPLAUSE)  Isn’t that a wonderful testimony?  “Praise God for ORU and the ministry.  My son was born both times on Eastern Sunday, and I also was born again many years ago under Brother Oral Roberts’ ministry.”  Now isn’t that a great story?

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS It is.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS “I started planting seeds of faith in January of this year.  Since that time our income has doubled and so has our giving.  The principles of sowing and reaping really do work.  Praise God for his blessings and increased income.” (APPLAUSE)  That’s from Lake Worth, Florida.  And, honey…..

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS No, those are mine.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Those are yours?

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS You picked that one up.  I don’t know what you did with it.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, I don’t know what I did.  This is from Michigan… is it Saline? You were born in Michigan.  You ought to know.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS I was born in Flint.  I was.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, that’s in Michigan.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Many, many, many years ago.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Many years ago, Lindsay.  Seven years later than I was born.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS No.  Yes, that’s right.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Cause you’re seven years younger than I am.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Not according to the newspapers.  They had me ten years older than you.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS I’m 21 and you’re 14.  “We gave $500 into the medical missions program at ORU.  Recently a company called my husband and offered him $10,000 a year more.  He’s going to take a new job and I know this is the answer to prayer and because we planted our seed in the ORU missions program.”  Now I think we ought to give the Lord a great handclap.  SU01 (APPLAUSE)  There are all kinds of testimonies.  I brought video home from Korea and we’re getting it all ready later on tomorrow and the next day we’ll have a lot of things to show you.  I have a great interview that I did with Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho, pastor of the world’s largest church.  I preached three times while I was in Korea and I’ll give you just a little capsule version and then I’ll show it to you tomorrow and maybe the next day.  But I preached the opening night at a banquet sponsored by the Church Growth International.

Then on Thursday evening I preached the first of a two-night crusade in Dr. Cho’s church.  The first night we had 50,000 people in attendance and the second night, 60,000 people.  On the second night they had to close the doors of the church and all the ancillary buildings at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and lock them because of the size of the crowd.  The service didn’t begin until 7 and those people sat there and prayed and sang for literally 3 hours before I got to that building.  (APPLAUSE)  And it was absolutely a miracle.  And I’ll show you more about it.  You see, Korea is one of the 40 nations that God spoke to me about.  And tomorrow…. in fact, I’ll make an announcement to all of my television personnel now.  Tomorrow I want to show the interview that I did with Dr. Cho in his office right after the crusade was completed.

Have you ever seen a tree that will lay there alive for months, and yet you know that death is in process because it’s cut off from its life, from where it was getting its life.  Well, God told me:  Denise, every day look at that tree laying on the ground knowing that you’re the one that chopped it down because, see, God gave me the power, the keys to the kingdom, and he said:  Every day the leaves will begin to fall off and you’ll know it, till one day the tree laying on the ground will be totally dried up.  (APPLAUSE)

And so every day when it was time to take the medicine, instead of taking the medicine I would look at that tree and I would picture the leaves falling off because I knew that tree was drying up.  And then eventually one day I turned to my husband and I wiggled this little finger and I said, “There’s only one leaf on this tree and it’s right here,” and he said, “It will go,” and it did and I’m TOTALLY healed, totally pain free.  (APPLAUSE) Isn’t that powerful?  It’s powerful.  But, see, this is the thing.  It was the devil.  You know, the medical field puts a name on it but the Bible puts a name on it.  It’s  the thief.  He comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  That is the spiritual name of sickness.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Denise, there are people watching this program right now who are right where you were.  The devil has afflicted them with sickness and disease.  And while the anointing of the Holy Spirit is upon you right now, I want you to begin the prayer for someone is going to get healed right now. Will you start praying and then we’ll add our prayer. Everybody join hands with the person next to you.  You people at home, you get yourself ready for this prayer while Denise leads the prayer. Denise, pray for us right now.

SPKM DENISE VICKERS  PRYM Yes, yes, yes, yes.  Now in the name of Jesus, concerning this disease, this attack, this affliction on your body, in the name of Jesus, God, right now we ask that all heaven stand at attention for these people that are viewing in, God.  You see their needs, Lord. You know the attack that’s on their body.  Now, Satan, I bind you in the name of Jesus and I command you to get your hands off of these people.  You spirit of affliction, we recognize you and we know you but we know who Jesus is and we know the power in the cross, we know the purpose. And in the name of Jesus we command you, Satan, to drop and be gone from these bodies in the name of Jesus.  Child of God, receive what is your right.  Receive your right.  It is yours. It is God’s will for your life.  Stand up and rejoice what God has for you. It is your right to walk in divine health and power in the name of Jesus, amen. SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Steve. SPKM

STEVE VICKERS  PRYM Now, Father, I pray, Lord God, that faith would be rekindled, hope would be restored.  In the name of Jesus, God, for the enemy has attacked areas where people knew that they believed before but now faith has been eroded and they question even things that they thought were settled in their lives.  God, I thank you that the scales fall off of their eyes and that once again they see who Jesus is and what he did for them and they recognize that all that he did for them is rightfully theirs and that they rise up in their heart, they stand erect as a child of God, and they appropriate by faith that that is theirs.  God, we release the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon each and every one.  God, we release your power upon your body in this hour to bring a healing to the Body of Christ, O God, that we may hear the Word of God that is being spoken to us in this hour and the calling together in Jesus’ name.  We thank you, Father.

SPKM CHERYL PREWITT SALEM The boys are still ahead, I see. SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Oh, yes, the boys are still ahead, naturally. That’s why Lindsay and I have been having girls, you see, to catch up.

SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS Is that why? SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS The boys are still ahead by more than 120 babies. The boys are still ahead.  And I have a letter that I want to share…. in fact, several letters that are really precious letters.  This first one is from Ocala, Florida.  “Dear Richard, I praise God he still works miracles. About a year ago I was in a car accident and my rib cage was cracked.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL To the very end.  And that is what you’ve got to do.  You’ve got to make a decision and not take it back. You’ve got to say — no more. Until you do it the devil is going to keep bringing it to you — that desire is going to be there.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS  SU03 You know, I am greatful for all of the programs that deal with alcoholism in America.  But there is one argument that I have, and that is that there are some who teach that when you have been an alcoholic that you are an alcoholic the rest of your life, even though you are what they call “on the wagon” –

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL Right.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS But you know, I believe in my heart that when God heals a sickness in your life, that you no longer have that sickness.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL That’s right. SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, I believe that when a person is delivered from alcoholism, they don’t have to wear the stigma of being called an alcoholic the rest of their lives.  I believe that God can heal alcoholism and he can set you free.  (APPLAUSE)

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL I do, too.  I know he can.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Now someone may be able to say, Candi, someone may be able to look at you and say that you are a former (right) alcoholic.  But I can’t look at you and say that you are an alcoholic the rest of your life.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL I am a new creature.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS You are a new person.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL I’m a new person.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS God delivered you.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL He delivered me.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Now that is what goes on (Praise God) at the drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, the Set Free Clinic over at the City of Faith. We help people not only to get free, but once they are free to help them know that they don’t have to be involved in that again, and that thing can be gone –

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS It can be delivered out of their lives.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL As though they had never done it.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS And we have had lots of people who have had questions on that.  And I appreciate all of the rehabilitation programs in America.  (Right) But I believe when God delivers you and when you make a decision you are going to stay delivered. You know, it’s a two-way street.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL That’s right.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS You know, you can’t just expect God to do it all.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL It’s up to you, you know.  I could have just said, well, you know — maybe.  And I could have fluctuated backwards and forward.  But God cannot work like that.  You have to make a firm decision.  You have to say no to the devil.  You have to shut the door on him and say — no more.  And when you do that God will begin to work on your behalf.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS Well, God delivered you, and you are going to stay delivered because you made a decision to stay delivered.

SPKM CANDI SUSSWELL That’s right.  (APPLAUSE)  Absolutely.
